communication with our lodge leadership. We feel that this will
increase membership participation and therefore lead to one of our Lodge goals of

asset.Aracoma ends 2011 with Annual Lodge Banquet Aracoma Lodge hosted the annual Lodge Banquet on December 10, 2011 at Camp Horne. More than 70 arrowmen turned out to fellowship and eat some great food. The Drum and Dance team, as well as the Ceremony team, recognized their members for their hard work during 2011. Both teams brought home numerous awards from the 2011 SR-9 Conclave. We also recognized the Vigil Honor recipients for 2011. They include David Crump, Jonathan Hess, and Reggie Roakes. Aracoma also awarded the Founders' Award for the 5th straight year. The two recipients this year were Jacob Walker and Rob Fikes. 2011 is also Clif Homan's last year as Lodge Adviser. Clif served Aracoma Lodge very well for the past 11 years. We want to thank Clif for all the hard work he has given to the lodge and wish him all the best in his future Scouting endeavors. Not only was he presented with a token of our appreciation, but he was given all the time he wanted for his final "Advisers' minute." Finally - with the changing of the guard, we were introduced to new Council Field Director and Lodge Staff Adviser Jason Eierman and new Lodge Adviser Mike Duke. We wish both of these gentlemen much success as they advise our lodge into our 60th year of service! Great Job Everyone! CURRENT LODGE FLAPS Aracoma has two (2) flaps that were released at the 2010 Lodge Banquet on December 11th. The first is the regular edition lodge flap. You may purchase this flap at the scout office for $5.00. The second is a TWO (2) piece flap. You may purchase this flap (sold together) for $10.00.

The Boy Scouts of America have released a new medical form that is required for all youth and adult members. This new form replaces the existing Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 forms.
